Successful Branford Microfund Night at The Stand

Branford Microfund Night at The Stand was a huge success — bringing together local residents and BMF volunteers for an evening of music, fellowship, and fundraising that raised $1,500. The money will be used to support BMF’s loan program that provides interest free loans of up to $3,000 to Branford residents to help lighten immediate financial burdens.

Raffled door prizes included an Apple Watch, a Thimble Island sunset boat cruise, ticket so Legacy Theater and The Kate, horse riding session, a guest trolley operator experience, and gift cards to several local restaurants including The Stand, Dockside, and Pennylane Pub. Music was provided by Montana Gentleman.

The Branford Microfund is especially grateful to The Stand owner Rob Kauffman and restaurant manager Joy Shane for hosting this community gathering.
